I have a TOMTOM Live 750 and everytime I try and download an update via Tomtom home it wants to install software for a 720. If I do this it doesn't give me the full postcode look-up and also not all the features I would normally have. I have re-installed the 750 software on device but it always wants to install the wrong software version. As the software update does not allow an untick on the update tick box I cannot install any other update.

Are you sure you are NOT logging inot TomTom with an email address you may have used for a 720 unit in the past?

Also, read through the thread in the following link from post 14 onwards as to how to 'fool'  Home into not forcing an update.

I have only ever owned a 750 - can tomtom give me a one off link to the 750 software that is only valid to my serial number
