when I reach my Destination my 550 tell I have reached my destination but if I go past it by mistake it don't tell me to turn around or reroute me back to my destination it just stop navigating which is not very helpful in a place you don't know is this something new all new tomtom do ? As my old tomtom one v2 would keep on navigating me back to my destination till I told it to stop or is there a setting to change this as i can't find one .
Yes, I agree; once it has said, "You have reached your detination', it stops navigating. Presumably if you have gone past that you would have to 'clear route, and then 'navigate to recent destination'. This is what they call 'progress'??
Come on tomtom this is taking a step backwards fix this little bug make my 550 at least as good as my old one v2 starting to wish I had saved my money on upgrading my sat nav if that what this is? They do seem to have fixed the rebooting problem fingers crossed I would have always recommend my v2 now if I was looking for a new sat nav not sure where I would look maybe its time to give garmin a go
Garmin has its annoying little ways too. I find owning two tomtoms is much more relaxing; usually you can count on one working. Though they should obviously be different specifications. It probably seems contrary to advocate buying a second model from a company that has caused irritation, But I still like Tomtoms, the challenge of keeping them going, and the enjoyment of discussing their use.
