Via 1605m lifetime maps updates question.

I got this Via 1605M about a year ago & have had at least one map update & My tomtom said I was up to date. Today I went to "update map" on the web site & "Map status said "Newer ver available. The Map update service showed "Expired"! I went back to My Tomtom & it says that I am up to date. What is going on here & how do I check my units map ver?

Give them a call to sort it out:

Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST

All sorted out. Apparently I never activated the feature & don't have the box/code, so TT did a courtesy activation. Thanks TT!
