Re: re-connection problems

Did you install the MyTomTom application? Try to use Google Chrome or Firefox for the updates. What OS do you have?

Re: re-connection problems

Try to download the installer to your desktop again, uninstall MyTomTom, then right click on the installer, run as administrator. Have a look in control panel/network connections. Can you see the TT device there, and is it active/enabled?

Re: re-connection problems

Try to restart the computer, and keep pressing the F8 button. At the system startup menu, select either Disable Driver Signature or Debugging Mode. When it starts up, try to connect the unit again.

Re: re-connection problems

Hi there i have the via series and have spend nearly 8 hours trying to get my pc to recognise my tomtom only to find out that this information  Note: The following navigation devices do not connect to HOME: GO 1000 series, GO LIVE 800 series, Via series, Start 20 series, Blue&Me TomTom 2 LIVE, Sony XNV, TomTom Connect.
Go to www.tomtom.com/getstarted to download the free TomTom driver and connect to MyTomTom.

So after all day i find out you can only use MyTomTom which is the website that comes up when you plug your tomtom into your pc
