Now that the SD card slot seems to be working, what is the largest capacity card anyone has tried to use?
I put an old 1GB microSD card in my 825, which formatted OK. I'm guessing that anything less than 4GB will be next to useless for most people, which means an SDHC of 4GB or larger would be required.

the largest capacity being supported I know of is 32GB. Use a Class4 card at minimum, better would be a Class6 card. However you won't be able to install data onto the card yet as the MyTT application is not able to write to SD cards at the moment. This has to be enabled via an application update.

Andd if it is working, think about that you only can use the space for TomTom content, you can not use it to store f.e. maps for TomTom and mp3s side by side.
So unless you want to carry a lot of maps with you there is no need to go above 4 GB in size.

Thanks for the info.
I don't need to use the slot yet, but was interested to know what was possible.
The TomTom web site says 32GB http://uk.support.tomtom.com/app/answers/detail/a_
An 8 8GB card does not cost much more than a 4GB card, so when the time is right, that's what I will probably go for.
