Unfortunately, transferring itn files is not supported. The newest devices connecting to the myTomTom Support Application are using a different way to travel to waypoints.
Article Waypoints (TomTom Knowledge Base) hyperlink
Using Waypoints in itinerary planning
From application version 10.500, you can plan routes with up to 4 extra stops before reaching your final destination. To plan a route that travels via one or more stops follow these steps:
For routes with more than one stop, the order of the stops is optimised automatically based on the distances between them. |
Web Based System
The new devices are using a web based system, which means that they connect to the computer as a Lan connection on its own network. The contents of the device are hidden so its not possible to access the drive through windows explorer like it was possible with other devices.
This is probably be done to prevent piracy, and also to prevent users from removing, editing,.. files so the system would become unusable.

Hi Mike, and welcome in a Brave New World : the World of TT considering that you're not using your device to travel ![]()
As Stefan states it, it is not possible so far to transfer *.itn files into the device memory.
We are many to demand that this feature is restored in the new device by any mean. I have created a specific thread here, and added also this feature in the wish-list thread.
Hope some TT guys are sometimes wandering on this forum, and I wish they will understand very soon that we NEED this feature.
