Traffic receiver

The tip of my car charger/traffic receiver has fallen off and is lost.  How can I purchase a new one without buying a whole new charger.  I've been told by an engineer that I should be able to replace only the tip for about $5.  I have a tomtom 1530  TM purchased about 1 year ago.

Hi,

just go to an electronics store and purchase that tip. Make sure you've got the ring holding the tip in place as well. Then just insert the tip and fix it using the ring. Afterwards your charger should be working again.
