Help.

I have just bought a new TomTom Start 25 GPS in order to use it on my holiday in Italy. I have installed My TomTom on the computer. There are no new updates for my GPS. Still I got the message:

Waiting for a valid gps signal

I have tried for more than 15 minutes without result. I need at quick solution to get on with my holiday. Help !!!

Hi,

Try a soft reset first. Hold the On/Off button down for 10-15 secs until you hear the TomTom drums and then release your finger. No settings are lost. Make sure you are outside when trying to get a signal.
