Hi,

I have recently purchased a tom tom and I am looking for the product serial number but I don't know where it can be found. Could someone let me know please.

The serial number can normally be found on the bottom side of the device.

How many numbers does it have? I can't seem to see it on the device.

The serial number is printed beneath a barcode and has about 12 letters. Which navigation device do you have?

I have the tomtom via live 125. I'm filling out the form to claim for cash back and there are only 11 squares available to fill out.

Does the serial number begins with two letters, following by ciphers?

You can also do the following to be sure that you have the correct number:

• Press and hold the power button, when you hear a drum roll sound, keep pressing the button untill you see a information screen;
• Alot of information will be shown, the serial number of the device will be displayed after the text 'Device id';
• To close the information screen, press and hold the power button for a second or few seconds;

I think I may have found it. It begins with letters and is followed by numbers and it totals up to 12, but on the form it only gives me 11 boxes. What should I do?

Compare the Device id with the serial number on the device, when the first 11 are correct then its the serial number. The one with 12 numbers is the correct one.

Normally the serial number behind 'Device id' should be the same in length as the one that can be found on the sticker.
