Hi all,
After using my Via 1530 1535 for several months my device no loger wanted to connect to my cell phone. I tryed to re-pair my device with my phone with advice from the technical support with no success.
I noticed that when trying to pair my phone indicated that it reconized my Tom Tom as 'BCM2070B0 UART Class 2, 26Mhz, B' and not as 'Tom Tom Via'.
The solution was simply to do a soft reset (press and hold the on-off button for 15 sec) of the Tom Tom device then proceed with re-pairing the devices.

Thanks to OP for posting this solution. I had the exact same issue come up a few days ago and after trying to re-pair my phone a few dozen times, I found your solution.

Hmm, I had the same problem with pairing my TomTom to my phone - my Samsung Gusto which my TomTom recognizes as SCH-U365; my Samsung Gusto recognizes the TomTom as BCM2070B0 UART Class 2, 26Mhz - but they won't pair. Tried soft reset of the TT - didn't help. So next I tried turning the phone completely off, then back on again, and then pairing happened.

Hi
Try a Soft/drum-roll start :- Link below.

You won’t lose anything
In the Bluetooth setting on the phone make sure the phone is set to always visible
Make sure the TomTom unit looks for the phone and not the other way around.
