Hi,
clearing the cache before connecting the device should be enough. Especially if you've set the application to download data without the need of having the device connected. Connecting the device to the computer shouldn't add anything to the cache.
Regards
Lars.

Hi. I have the same problem. I was on my way in the car and a destination set. I stopped at a petrol station and switched my TT via off. When I started it up again, the message NO MAPS FOUND was there. I connected to myTT and it sayed that my map is up to date. I still get NO MAPS FOUND. EVEN RESETTING DOES NOT HELP. What now???? Did anybody found a cure for this????. I would apprechiate it

Try a drum reset on the unit by holding the power button about 15 seconds till you hear the drum sounds unless your unit has a dedicated reset hole.

I have done all that. When I log into My TT there I can see the map installed and the version, and that all my maps are up to date, but the unit still states NO MAPS found. I am speechless. I tried all, but with no result. I realy do not know what else to do. This happened on the road. The unit was working fine untill I switched it off. 5 minutes later, as I wanted to switch it on, there was the NO MAPS FOUND. I reset and tried everything, the maps can not just vanish???
