True to form, TomTom seems to be providing new small updates on an almost daily basis for my Go 1050 World, without any information whatever about what is being installed on my unit.

WHEN WILL THEY GET THE MESSAGE ... we are intelligent users, who would like the courtesy of knowing what is being updated on our units, the benefits of the update, and the option to install or not.

Are they at last providing updates for QuickGPSFix?  My unit seems to be getting satellite fixes faster then before.  If so its about time - but would someone kindly tell us?

Come on TomTom - get your act together and stop treating your customers like mushrooms.

Every other company that has software/frmware updates have the info available at time of download.

I had this update too, take about 10 min. no information what is it about.

Same here - none of the components (sw, gps, map, ...) version information was updated neither?!?

I just did the same download. It may have been some system updates. I had my status bar on vertical, it was horizontal after the update.

For what? It's just looks like an update?

Why isn't any information like, keep it some bugs ore some new function there...(?)

It wasnt BACKUP

Nor was it MAPSHARE

Cant see GPS QUICKFIX either

Even tiny software companies publish the update, item, bug lists

I know TT aint Microsoft but come on !

When I updated..the GPS announced "syncing clock with Chicago Time"...I live in Texas. Didn't seem to affect the GPS time though
