Has anyone put together a list of reported affected models with the no signal (leap year bug) problem, I have just ordered a Start 20 but I won't open the box if its not going to work, I will just return it for a refund.
I have used TomTom before on a PDA and found it much better than the built in Satnav in the vehicle I have just sold,
I was looking forward to using the new unit, but the latest situation does not look good.

As I have read the long "No GPS signal" thread during last 2 days I noticed that probably all current models of tomtom are affected. Mentioned models with problem include:
GO 10xx
GO 8xx
VIA 12x, 11x, 14xx, ...
Start 2x

Have NOT had a problem with my Start 20 which has been on (connected to my laptop) for the last 96 hours except when I went to my local town some 10 miles away where everything worked. ![]()
Please don't throw any bricks at me, but I do have a couple of theories as to what this is about and have been in contact with Ditte about it ![]()

My Via 1400 (which I bought on Saturday at Staples for $60 here in Canada) works fine. It does detect the satellites and shows my position on the map.
