Updating maps taken 2 nights so far and still not working is this normal this thing is driving me mad hope I get it sorted soon

Your tomato might go to sleep while downloading update? While installing your tomato cannot get's itself to sleep.

Normally update takes about 2 hours. Did you try reset your tomato (you do that by pushing the on/out button for 15 seconded till you hear the drums)

Well mine updated, now my 1005 is as useful as a tomato, it says the map cant be used on this device !

You contact tom-tom support and explain your problem, sorry for that!

The map update worked in the end thanks for the help still got one problem speed cam alerts not working

Mine hasn't attempted one yet, it still says it's up to date everytime I connect, I miss my poi's.

Thanks ive already done that, I seem to have 2 map updates available, that may be why its broken it !

How did you solve the problem? I need to download the South Asia map but cannot.
