I have installed Home2MacLatest.

I then install MyTomTomSA

TomTomSA just keeps rotating around the password required for my user area/Mac, I gave up after 36 requests/attempts.

Hi,

you're using the wrong version. Hom2maclatest is for the older devices up to series x5x

For the 1050 you need the mytomtom Software, which can be found here: https://tomtom.com/en_gb/mytomtom/getstarted/ and then click on "different operation system"

i've got the same problem, it keeps asking for my password.

It' not clear to me which software to download, i've downloaded via the "Download now for MAC OSX", if i choose fort different OS, i can only download .exe-files.

Please help.

I have to say that this Tom tom is the cludgiest piece of hardware I've ever purchased!  It will not operate on my new Mac.

My Tom Tom cannot see my device, the other software installl does not, it just keeps endless looping asking for my user area password.  Considering the relative costs, I'd have been better with a new mobile phone or a compass and three days rations.

I'm returning it.  Two whole days is tooo long, especially when you see that the 1050 cannot install or even see most of the software available.  You spend a further $50 for speed camera updates, and then cannot install the **bleep** software, worse, you can't even download it!  But you do get an email receipt!!  WTF?!

Is this any different to the link which comes up on the get started page?    For 4 months that link as failed to provide software that runs on a new Mac computer.   The problem is not that a download does not occur I don't know how many times I have downloaded the program.  The problem is that once it has downloaded you cannot launch it.
