So I've used the "add community content " app to install the Premier Inns .ov2 and .bmp files (renamed one, as it had caps and the other didn't, so they're identical, the file type apart).
Rebooted too.
But I can't see it on the sat nav.
Navigate to > POI doesn't show a symbol.
Any ideas, please?

Hi. Have you tried doing this on Chrome yet? ![]()

Did you check in settings..."Show POI on map" ?

The browser is not the problem. The files transferred as they should.
The .ov2 file shows up as installed under the "community POI on device" section of MyTomtom, but I can't find it on the sat nav.
Thanks anyway ![]()

I don't or didn't mean in the browser..there isn't a Show poi setting there....
I should have written on your device
On the device from the main menu..Select, Settings and scroll to show POI on map
Open the menu and scroll through or search for the new catagory and see if it's in the
options menu and if it's checked.....

@laz45,
Your suggestion led me to have a better look.
I've found it ![]()
My mistake was in thinking that the icon would come up in navigate to > point of interest > the next navigate to window.
It doesn't.
It comes up in navigate to > point of interest > navigate to POI near you/POI in city > the next navigate to window.
This can be marked as solved.
Thanks for the suggestions guys ![]()
