Can you please help me Ditte, I have tried to get TomTom's attention for some time in another thread.
When I download and install theese update, my own corrections to the map disappear!!

Nothing will happen if you miss a day. The device will download the latest each time you login (obviously not 5x if you login 5x a day).
So the file of updates keeps on getting bigger? Is that what you are saying?
The way mapshare works in Tomtom HOME, each day you get incremental updates (very small file). If you don't connect for a while, the updates are combined into a much bigger incremental update file. I assume the same happens on MyTomtom.

Hi
@Ditte
Yesterday upgrade went fine, today's map changes went fine.
But the changes to Add Community Content are a pain.
Before the upgrade when you loaded say 33 .0v2 files it opened a window with a list of the 33 files
and said "These files (33) already exist do you want to overwrite them".
It now says "This file already exists do you want to overwrite it", so I don't know if I have replaced 1 or 33 files
I used FireFox and group selected the files but now Im not getting a positive message that I have replaced them all.
Please can we go back to the old overwrite warning message.

Is it the latest Firefox? Some complained about that already. Give a go to Chrome/Opera/IE to see if it is the browser or something else.

I understand that Map Share corrections are specific to a particular map. For example, if you are using an old map version, v8.65 for the sake of demonstration, then you will get any new Map Share corrections made by other users with that map version, even when newer maps are available. However, you will not benefit from any new Map Share corrections made by users with newer map versions than v8.65. The base maps are obviously different, which probably makes it impossible to reconcile Map Share corrections between the two, so that would seem to make sense on the face of it.
I'm not sure how Map Share corrections from v8.65 users would get applied to newer versions such as v8.85 or v8.90. Either those Map Share corrections already in effect at the time of release of the newer version, or subsequent corrections made by users still using the older map. Almost certainly, some of those corrections would not longer be necessary since they would already be incorporated in the newer base map.
All or any of these assumptions may be incorrect, and it may also be different for devices using TomTom Home when compared to devices using MyTomTom.

I remember the old days with the HOME. It used to tell me that I use 220 000 corrections (just an example), and after the new map, it went down to say 16 000. I assume it was due to the fact that the others were applied to the latest map permanently. But having said that, it means an awful huge and "complicated" database for TT.

Hi
@Zolt
Ok I've tried Chrome / Opera / ( IE9 obviously no group select) / Firefox, all have the same revised file overwrite warning as my last post. ![]()
I think all the files are installed but Im just not sure.

At least we know it is not the browser(s).
