Hi there. I have a Tom Tom VIA 180, and received an email after I registered for the 12 Maps bonus promotion which tells me to "Click on the button ‘Use my activation code’ ". I can't find this button anywhere. I see there is a menu item "Activate Code" under the My Tom Tom button, but this appears to be for the device itself and not the bonus promotion. Could you send a link to the right are please. I appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks

Actually, the button "Activate Code" in MyTomTom is the correct one.

My friend and I both bought a Via 180, received the email with the activiation code, but no joy. We both go around in circles of saying of having to download mytomtom software - message In order to activate your TomTom Service, you need to get started with MyTomTom. Please either install the MyTomTom application first or start the MyTomTom application. If you have installed it but it is not running.
I have installed the software x 4 and STILL not able to activate the code. I have rung TomTom and get cut off as they are experiencing a busy time. I cant get any customer satisfaction re the situation. Does anyone know what the problem is?

hi guys.. i got the free 12 maps bonus service australia,, actually i have created my acoount and got the confermation mail and activation code as well.. but i have tried lot of time to go the next step to put the activation code but failed,,, when i click on the activation code button , then a new page open with the option select your country, when i select the Australia then the same page appear again ,,
so plz anyone can tell me how can i use the acttivation code and how can i download the bonus map,, i have done other all step, i think its a second last step to put the activation code,, but the activation code service is not working,,,

Not sure if you can see my post to another problem, but I had basically same issue. You can view rest of the response there. If you can't I will try and repost it here. If they can't fix my problem this brand new purchase is going back to the store.
