I have a new 825 and cannot get get started to start. I have Windows XP. Internet explorer blocks the site. I click "run" get another two sec. warnings, I click "run" each time but nothing happens. Please keep any suggestions low jargon as I'm computer as well as sat nav fairly ignorant. Thanks.

Re: 825

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried  the basic proceedure about half a dozen times with no success but eventually it seems to have worked. Perhaps I need a newer computer or get rid of McAfee. Sorry I wasn't able to reply earlier. There is an oddity about downloads. It told me my sat nav was up to date, then proceeded to download something. I can live with that.

Re: 825

I remember, it used to happen with the speed cameras. First it said there are updates, then it said it is actually up to date, but when you left it connected, started the download and updated :smileywink: I think there is a lag/delay in MyTomTom. But as you said, eventually it works.
