Another shortcoming to TomTom's voice commands is that everytime you issue a command it turns itself off.  If you have your volume set at 100% and want to turn it down to 60% you have to issue 4 voice commands which means you have to activate it by touching the screen 4 times.  Not to safe while your driving!

Agree, maybe this could be solved by starting the voice commands with 'activate' or a word that can be set yourself. When no more commands are being given, the voice commands could be de-activated by saying 'de-activate or done'.

On the GO Live 1000 its only possible to select one computer voice for the dutch language (xander).

Ability to have more computer voices including the option to have a female voice as computer voice?

Ability to send the navigation instructions via bluetooth to a car radio?

Ability to send the navigation instructions via FM signal to a car radio, but that TomTom has his own frequency in every country? (had the issue with my previous navigation unit that I had a free fm signal in my region, but when arriving in other cities (in the same country) that this frequency was being in use by a radio music company).

Ability to have a window mount with integrated line-out audio output to a car radio, instead of having to use a fixed mount solution and that the standard car charger that came with the device can be used?

I would really like a logging function:

• Log position, height, speed, time and date
• Stored as a track that can be reversed, saved and used as a route
• Ability to stop and start logging manually and/or select if a planned route is to be logged
• Ability to export to gpx
• Ability to use LIVE services to export to f.instance GoogleMaps
• Ability to share track/route using LIVE services to facebook/twitter
• Ability to share route, LIVE position, tracks or POIs with other LIVE users

Is there any plans to implement any of these functions?

• Intelligent routing - if the nav always suggests some particular route, and 75% of drivers take still different one - ability to learn that the route that nav suggested isn't to optimal one based on user experience.

• Ability to view the MapUpdate Service subscription on the navigation device;
• When mapshare becomes available: ability to view on the navigation device and in myTomTom how many corrections are installed;

• Weight restriction.
• pinch to zoom on main screen.
• zoom button on main screen can now be changed to some thing useful.
• Stop all exceeding speed warning sounds when the box is unticked in 'Safty settings'.
• when traffic is shown the orange/red tab is a direct shortcut to that particular incident.
• A noticible low battery warning.
• The ability to remember the route i put in the night before..

I have mentioned this before. There needs to be some way through map share of marking good and bad roads. A 1-5 scoring system or something.
