Only one sound can be configured when driving over the speed limit. The sounds for different types of speed camera's can be set individually.

I have speed limit of 80 km/h when I am towing my caravan. Can you implement this objection into the route planning and time of arrival?
Thanks,
Michal Svarc

Sorry but NO! This something that we have been asking for for a long time. For some reason this facility was on old units but has been taken off new units!!!!!
TT have now issued a new product that does cover caravan towing and they probably think that this is good enough but most of us cannot afford to buy a new unit for this functionality. However, just re-instating the limited speed would make the 1000/2000 series a lot better, especially as this would not only assist caravanners and van drivers but also those who do not want to drive at the full speed limit, so that they can reduce their fuel consumption.

Is it possible for tomtom tocreate fav folders in your favourites like how Garnin does.
I find it very help full to be able to stores my favourites from State.
Now with my via1535 and 2505 favourites are all stroed in one folder.
A friend just lent me his garmin 2555LMT and it's day and night difference in speed and touch screen response. He was showing me how much better garmin is that allows you to create sepaarte fav folders. As you turn on the gcar within 3 sec te gpssignal was aquired.
I have a via1535 and Go 2505 and think I will return my via1535 for a refund if tomtom does not come out with the option to create atleast favourite folders and better response.
When I go this gps last year it was never this slow and now the touchscreen response and time it take to acquite satellite is way too long compared to the garmin.

Hallo Shorty, hi community,
I think we should completly re-start this theme due too different points became involved. In German board it is very much better organized and clearly noted. Look at:
Das wünschen wir uns noch für die GO1000 und VIA Serie
And, I think, this point is little bit too important than to become talked too different. That's the reason I haven't given any comment about nevertheless there are very much things we should tell to TomTom.

Why not just store those Favourites in separate POI categories?
I have all my Family addresses in one POI, Friends in another, Work addresses in a third etc. etc.
If you want you can put a punctuation character such as an underscore at the front of the POI category name and then they will appear att he top of the alphabetical list.

now that version 12 has been released, here's my updated "wish" list:
Things that need to be added ASAP becuase they are supposed to be fincluded features of the device:
1) QuickGPS fix for non-live devices.
2) Map sharing
Features that would be nice to have in no particular order:
1) Hold back button to return to map navigation screen (useful when you are deep in a menu and don't want to press back 5 times, feature found in Igo Primo)
2) DEM elevations displayed in maps (look at Igo Primo 1.2, it is beautiful)
3) Voice activated-voice command
4) Trip monitor (Again look at Igo Pirmo 1.2, it wonderfully displays many details of your trip (elevaion graph, speed graph, ect)
5) Display tracks on map (see where you have already been)
6) 3D content such as 3D buildings and landmarks
7) Raster maps (Satellite imagery)
8) Bluetooth DUN/PAN (allow you to get LIVE services without embedded SIM card and GPRS hardware)
9) Ability to see elevation
10) Some sort of compass option.
11) Pre-defined routes (saved routes)
12) Backup device settings
13) Export tracks to .kml or other formats
New:
14) Ability to re-order favourites. There is no way to move a favourite from the second apge to the first page without much hassle.
15 ) Better menu organization. Right now it is a mess of hierarcy, with some buttons leading to sub menus, and others acting as short cuts. The menu system needs a major overhaul.
16) Customize the software for Canada... When I use voice recognition for well known american stores "drive to the nearest walmart" it will understand. But when I use any a well known Canadian store "Loblaws", or "No frills" it will not understand
Thank you.

Any P, the problem with using all the commas, and symbols is that I have too many fav to be scrolling down to get the one that I need. This is backward and outdated and not uder friendly.
There is no reason why tomtom cannot make the user create separate folders, it makes using the gps more efficient.
That is why I have a 2505 that I use strictly for travelling to the usa and the via 1535 for canada.
I had a older garmin 1490T that I sold and even this older gps was able to create separate folder that I could name by state.

Hallo Jason, hi communiy,
let's continue:
17: extension of calculating time during tunnel crossings up to 20 seconds, basing on entry-speed
18: is showing a typical european problem: automatic question whether POIs/OVIs should be deactivated about 500 meters
before border crossing.
Please continue numbered

19: ability to choose every POI in some categories, not only those in some predefined distance (use case: I created some new POI categories, one of them is used to store various interesting places I spotted during some trip. After some time I do not remeber near which city they were located or just don't want to waste time for entering the city which might be close to place I remeber).
20: abitlily to permanently exclude some road from planning - for instance a road that specifically don't like, or a road that I know will be under construction for next 3 months, so it makes no sense to report it in MSR, as it accepts only permanent corrections.
