I have a recently bought a brand new Toyota Aygo with Tomtom built in. I am very dissapionted that the navcore is out of date as it does not have features like Advanced Lane Guidance or IQ routes and no facility for RDS TMC Traffic.
It has now got App 7.826 installed which it the most recent update but it is still well behind the stand alone models.
Usual problem with built-in units - car takes 3+ years to develop; you buy buy 2-3 years into it's selling period; therefore unit is 5+ years behind current technology. Look on the brightside - profit to the dealer on the TNS410 is probably higher than that of the basic car, and is keeping him in business.
