Driving in France

I shall be touring in France for a fortnight in May driving a Renault Clio (2011 Model) with a built in Carminat TomTom. I am informed by Renault that an SD Card covering Western Europe will cost over £100. Is there any way I can get an SD Card which just covers France at a cheaper rate or could I rent one anywhere for just the fortnight or buy a second hand one. I have seen some on e-bay but how can I tell whether they are compatible with my system.
