Application update for Sony XNV Series LIVE

Hey,

 

We just released a new application for Sony XNV Series LIVE.

 

MyTomTom offers it as 10.640, on the device it will be listed as 10.873.

 

This release fixes a major issue with GPS reception which caused almost complete loss of GPS reception a few weeks to a few months after the system was first used. We strongly recommend that you update your navigation module with this release.

ok fantastic but, when i go to mytomtom there is no update. the only update i can do was speedcam. how can i check if my version is up to date and so how can i check if i've already update. i dont' remember doing an update so i will ask you. please let me know. thank a lot.

Jurgen,

I moved to the USA last December, at first Tomtom told me that I would neeed a US sim card in order for Live services to work in the USA.

So I bought a protable live device in the US and replaced the sim card in my unit from UK, still did not work.

Now they say that the modem channel is different in the US and it can not be changed from the modem channel in the UK.

 

So far I have spent over $500.00 US and it is still not working. Do you know of a way to change the modem to the correct channel for use in the USA.
